I am a mountain guide based in Furano, Hokkaido, and a master taiko drummer dedicated to sharing the beauty of nature and Japanese culture.
For many years, I have explored the mountains, forests, and hidden waterfalls of Furano. As a certified mountain guide, I help visitors safely enjoy Hokkaido’s spectacular natural landscapes while sharing local knowledge that cannot be found in guidebooks.
In recent years, concerns about wildlife, including bears, have increased throughout Hokkaido. My goal is to provide guests with a safe, enjoyable, and memorable outdoor experience, whether on a relaxing waterfall walk or a full-day mountain adventure.
In addition to nature tours, I also offer cultural experiences such as taiko drumming, tea ceremony, and other traditional Japanese activities. As a taiko master and cultural instructor, I enjoy introducing visitors to the spirit and traditions of Japan through hands-on experiences.
What I value most is not simply showing famous tourist attractions, but helping people truly experience Furano through its nature, culture, and local way of life.
